Turkey part 2

3 slovenians went to mediterranean part of the Turkey:
- knowledge of turkish language: 0,000001% (tamam = ok, Ben su gibi bir kIzIm=I'm a girl as pure as water, čok = a lot) :D
- over 3000 driven kilometers by bus
- a lot of whiskey to prevent the runs
- immense moments of joy

The buses in Turkey have better service than airplanes. There is steward, who serves food and drinks, and every chair has touch-screen TV, music, games... Like a boss!

Cappadocia = "the land of beautiful horses", and amazing stone shapes

Underground city - kinda to small for me

 Hand made potery

Pamukkale = "cotton castle" is know by its ancient city, calcium hotwater springs, and travertines

Vivid demonstartion of ancient public toiltes

travertines - terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water

Roman Ephesos = EFES, does it ring a bell? No? What about Efes Pilsen :P

NIKE = goodness of victory, guess which company took ker shape for theirs brand logo

Can you find a heart? ;)

Turkey part 1: Istanbul

I've spent one amazing year with my turkish friend Eylem in Germany. She came to Slovenia to meet her slovenian family and explore our land: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq1w4sMAHnQ
So this summer I went to Turkey to do the same :)

ISTANBUL is the largest city in Turkey. Istanbul is a transcontinental city, straddling the Bosphorus-one of the world's busiest waterways—in northwestern Turkey, between the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. Its commercial and historical center lies in Europe, while a third of its population lives in Asia.
